Fire Risk Management is the monthly membership journal of the Fire Protection Association and the Institution of Fire Engineers. It is regarded as Europe’s foremost technical publication on fire safety and loss prevention. Written by professionals, for professionals, the journal contains news, technical features, surveys, case studies on major fires, guidance on legislation, standards and codes, new products and services information and coverage of developments in fire safety engineering and related areas of loss prevention.
The journal was known as Fire Prevention & Fire Engineers Journal up until January 2008. It was originally formed in 2002 when the FPA’s Fire Prevention magazine was merged with the IFE’s Fire Engineers Journal. In bringing the two publications together, the FPA and IFE hope to promote a greater understanding of issues that affect the fire protection industry, the legislators and regulators and those who influence building and equipment design, as well as end-users and those on the front line when fire breaks out.
Fire Risk Management endeavours to meet the needs of its professional membership base by continuing to provide the latest news, views and discussion on technical, commercial and legislative issues and promoting a greater understanding of the queries and concerns of all disciplines in the fire safety sector.
FPAThe Fire Protection Association is the UK's national fire safety organisation, promoting the fire safety message to industry, commerce and the wider public. The FPA provides authoritative advice and information on all aspects of fire safety and fire safety management and offers a range of services to business and industry as well as the community at large. These include a broad range of training course and technical consultancy services, in addition to a wide range of publications. http://www.thefpa.co.uk/
