The system incorporates a range of accessories, including a portable radio unit attached to a user’s breathing apparatus. The radio technology continuously transmits and receives data from up to 12 individual firefighters, monitoring their exact status from a safe distance away from an incident.
Moulded with carrying handles, the portable unit is powered by two rechargeable nickel metal hydride batteries.
