Kingfell has maintenance contracts at 11 major London train stations. This includes the design, commissioning and installation of fire detection and alarm systems for the retail units within them, such as the Body Shop, Starbucks and Boots. Its greatest challenge is ensuring that the detection systems are correctly installed in each retail unit and that detectors will activate at an early stage, without causing false alarms.
