Lace mill conversion
A FORMER Derbyshire lace mill, which is being converted into 112 flats by property developer, Roseberry Homes, has been brought up to current fire performance standards through the installation of Gyproc FireLine – a high performance fire-protection board from British Gypsum Limited.

The company’s challenge was to provide current levels of fire protection to key elements of the structure, while retaining the mill’s historic features. British Gypsum worked closely with architects and sub-contractors on the multi-million pound development to enable the most distinctive feature – its timber roof – to remain exposed.
