 Some 60 Stratos-HSSD detectors were installed as part of a £1.5m fire protection project at the new Quinn Glass manufacturing facility in Cheshire.
Using artificial intelligence, the detectors are able to accurately ‘condition’ themselves to suit their environment by making continuous automatic minor adjustments to their sensitivity. This allows the detection system to ‘track’ normal minor smoke density fluctuations and minimise false alarms, while still providing the earliest warning of fire.
