The £275m shopping complex houses around 100 shops, including cafés, and has parking for 1,000 vehicles.
In total, 45 ASD units were installed to protect the shopping centre – including 18 TOPSENS units, which were fitted in the car park areas. These systems are immune to car exhaust fumes and can be interfaced into the air-conditioning system so that smoke can be extracted during a fire.
