Historic protection
THE HISTORIC Cunard building in Liverpool – one of the city’s ‘Three Graces’ landmarks – has been fitted with a wire-free analogue addressable fire detection system from EMS Group, as part of a major refurbishment.

 The multi-tenanted building has been fitted with six radio-network control panels and over 600 radio devices. Each device – for example, a fire sensor or call-point – was quickly installed in less than 10 minutes, without the need for cable, causing minimum disruption to the building users and its historic interior.
