37.5 Hours per week

Salary: £22,635 - £29,237 pa inclusive

West London Health Estates and Facilities Management is the Estates Department for Five Primary Care Trusts in West London. We are responsible for the maintenance, monitoring and management of all PCT Properties.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our department for the post of Assistant Fire Safety Advisor based at our West Ealing office supporting our Fire Safety Advisor.

The successful candidate will be required to assist with the provision of professional Fire Protection advice and training to our various Primary Care sites.

You would be responsible to assist the Fire Safety Advisor to ensure the Primary Care Trusts meet the requirements of Fire Code, and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and, when required, responsible for liaising with the Fire and Civil Defence Authority and with NHS Estates. Knowledge of NHS fire procedures would be preferable but not essential as full training would be given.

Priority will be given to NHS staff whose jobs are at risk.
