Part-time Fire Risk Assessors – Nationwide

Rates are between £150 - £200 per day, pro-rata + travel expenses

We want to recruit quality people to work part time as contractors to deliver fire risk assessments and related fire safety services.

Schedules are flexible and arranged to suit individual circumstances. We require between 4 to 10 days availability per month.

You need to be reliable, conscientious and flexible with excellent communication skills and be IT literate. You will be an experienced fire risk assessor with relevant knowledge and understanding of fire safety gained within the industry. You will have completed the Fire Service Colleges Fire Safety Modules or equivalent. The positions would suit someone with recent/current fire safety service experience.

Full time Fire Safety Surveyor – London Area

Salary up to £19K per annum + company bonus.

Based in the London area, you will attend commercial premises nationwide, in order to assess the available fire safety systems (i.e. alarms, sprinklers and emergency lighting).

Key tasks will include recruiting and training contractors and gathering on-site data to establish compliance requirements and systems functionality. You will also test fire alarms, sprinklers and emergency lighting systems and conduct Health & Safety inspections.

You will be self-motivated, responsible and have a keen eye for detail. You will be an effective communicator and have customer service experience, ideally within the fire safety industry.

Interviews will be held in August 2008.

Some nationwide travel may on occasions be necessary.
