 The brigade used Makita’s lithium-ion reciprocating saw – a powerful cordless tool – and Makita rescue blades to cut smoothly through vehicle chassis sections, such as the door pillars.
The cordless saw contributed to the team’s success due to its powerful, lightweight and compact design. According to the team, it is an essential piece of brigade kit to start the rescue process.
