Designed to protect the venue’s ‘Performance Wall’ – a giant video screen that delivers visitor information about upcoming O2 events – the ASD system detects fires at a very early stage, before visible smouldering or smoke develops. It also protects the electronics systems behind the wall and the electrical switchgear, used for the Performance Wall and other electrical systems, such as the main fire detection system.
