Fire Safety Adviser
Band 6 £23,458 - £ 31,779 p.a.
Permanent, 37.5 hours per week
Location: Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust Premises
With Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust being one of the leading Foundation Trusts in the country we are looking for two motivated fire safety professionals to work in the Estates Fire Safety Department.
As a fire safety adviser you will be a key member of the fire safety team providing a flexible customer focussed fire safety training and advisory service to all trust employees across all trust premises and to external healthcare providers.
Applicants will be required to demonstrate a good knowledge of NHS Fire code Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
Skills in presenting fire safety training within a healthcare or other working environment using IT power point and other IT equipment is important.
Fire Safety Advisers will be required to undertake detailed fire risk assessments to maintain high levels of fire safety through out all trust buildings, collate and submit detailed assessments with recommendations on fire safety matters to the Specialist Fire Safety Adviser and on occasions to stand in for the Specialist Fire Safety Adviser as required.
