Tested to LPS 1208, the panels can span up to 4m where a one-hour fire rating is required and, with low air leakage rates, they can maintain an internal temperature as low as -40ºC when external temperatures are as high as +40ºC.
Kingspan has also developed a successor product, the KS1100 CS, which adds a modified joint for further enhanced fire performance and is the first 175mm PIR panel to achieve a 60-minute fire rating.
