My client is a leading Scandinavian Insurer, who are continually expanding following their launch in the UK almost 4 years ago. Operating in a sound working environment with a real appetite for quality and cost effective solutions, they now have an excellent opportunity for two Risk Engineers based in the Southern Region.
The role is similar to an Account Engineer, providing an effective surveying and consulting capacity whilst representing the interests and brand of the company. You will always provide a high level of service and will be operating as part of the Risk Management and underwriting teams.
Responsibilities will include undertaking desk-top/technical reviews, contribute to underwriting decisions together with 'on site' inspections of existing clients and prospects. In all situations you will aim to determine the risk levels and assessment of future exposure and loss potential. These responsibilities will be carried out whilst developing consultative relationships with clients.
This role would be ideal for candidates with Property Risk Surveying experience, from either an insurer or broker background who are looking for an exciting new challenge. Experience of other areas of Risk Management or someone with formal qualifications, such as Health and Safety would also be beneficial, but not essential.
